Future Film Festival 2012:
Bexie Bush Named Best Animation WINNER
For “Ever Hear A Postman Whistle” | The New Current
"One of the things that struck me was the time Bush took to make the film. In our exclusive interview with the director
she said she had ‘made the film over two weeks inside our kind neighbour’s empty Victorian house…’
There is a wonderful nostalgic feel to the film and you become engrossed with the conversation
she was able to record which is natural and made the film incredible authentic.
An amazing achievement and one well earned.
Part of Bush’s prize will be to pitch a short or feature film to the head of Disney Animation with Ramsey McBean
and if his feedback is anything to go by Bush is about to make an indelible impression on one of the most important men in the industry.
The Future Film Festival continues tomorrow 19th."
